Serengeti National Park

Serengeti is the Tanzania’s oldest and most popular national park and second bigest national park after Ruaha. it covers an area of 14763 square kilometers.The park located 335km from Arusha stretching north to Kenya and bordering Lake Victoria to the west. Serengeti  means the endless plains in the Maasai language and within its boundaries are more than three million large mammals, Serengeti is famed for its animal migration when more than 1.5 million wildebeest and 500000 Thomson, Gazelle follow some 200000 Zebra in 2000 km around pilgrimage in search of fresh grazing and water, it’s the greatest wildlife show on earth and a once in a lifetime experience.  Serengeti offers arguably the most scintillating game-viewing in Africa great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephant and giraffe and thousands upon thousands of eland, Topi, Kongoni, Impala and Grant’s gazelle.
